This particular Triton was started in the summer of 1962 at the Pearson yard at Aero Marine, Sausalito CA, and then liberated to be finished by the original owner in nearby West Marin. The current owner has images of the boat at that time. She was overly built to be extra thick in the hull. Her 1975 Bukh diesel retrofit is reported to run fine by her current owner. Standing rigging was replaced 5 years ago. Boat was last hauled in 2013. She is diver cleaned on a regular basis. Her mast has been replaced at the time of the standing rigging refit with an aluminum mast. All electrical wiring was replaced 6 years ago.
